Your own browser cuts out each image. Your photos are never sent to a server, so no one else sees them, us included.
Nothing is saved
No accounts and no image storage. Close or refresh the tab and your images and cutouts are gone, unless you downloaded or copied them.
Links are fetched, not kept
Paste a link and Pluck fetches that one image for you. It comes straight to your browser, and Pluck's link helper doesn't store it.
No ads, no analytics, no tracking. Pluck counts how many cutouts are made; that sends only a number, never your image or anything about you. On your own device, Pluck keeps your settings (light or dark, Fast or High quality), your own pluck count and the cutout engine, so it starts faster next time. If you send us a message with the contact form, it goes to our support inbox so we can reply.

What kinds of images work best?
Logos, products and people on a plain or simple background. Busy scenes, or hair and fur against a similar colour, are harder. Try High quality for those.
Fast or High quality?
Fast is a small model (about 5 MB) that runs quickly on any computer. High quality is larger (about 90 MB, downloaded once and kept on your device) and gives cleaner edges on hair and fine detail. Switch with the Quality buttons, or use "Redo in HQ" on a single result.
Part of my logo became see-through. Can I fill it back in?
Yes. Click the area on the result to fill it back in, and click again to make it see-through. If a logo was treated like a photo (or the other way round), use "Try as logo" or "Try as photo" on that result.
Why did a link not work?
Some sites don't allow other pages to load their images. Make sure the link points to the image itself: right-click the picture and choose "Copy image address". If it still fails, save the image and drop it in.
Why is my small logo bigger than the original?
Small logos come back enlarged (up to 3 times, about 900 px wide) with smooth edges, so they stay crisp in slides and documents.
Is Pluck free? Do I need an account?
Pluck is free and works fully without an account. Accounts, with your own uploads and shared libraries for teams, are coming soon.
